Profile shot of Simon Veale.

Simon Veale

Senior Architect

A ThirdSpace veteran, Simon has a highly developed IAM skill set and the flexibility to adapt it to whatever the situation requires.

Having been in 'identity management' forever, there’s probably not much that he hasn’t seen, done or heard of. He knows the benefits and the pitfalls.

His experience dates back to the '80s, when it was all about sharing address books between long since defunct email systems ("who remembers MSMail, CCmail and All-In-1?"). He’s been through host-based, client-server, thin client, and now into the Cloud.

Technology never stands still, so Simon never gets bored. Who knows what will come after cloud?

When he gets the time, Simon works with the Bloodhound SSC land speed record team as an event ambassador – it turns out that land speed records are hard when you have to start at the speed of sound and work up from there.
