Our latest service offering provides organisations with greater insights into their risk posture and suggested actions.
Data has never been more valuable – inspiring and fuelling digital transformation. The value of that same data is prized by cyber-criminals and navigating today’s evolving threat landscape is a constant challenge.
Privacy is also a growing concern, with resource stretched IT departments challenged to have the right systems in place to ensure responsible data protection all while justifying the return on cybersecurity investments to sceptical board members.
The new Security and Privacy Service from Oxford Computer Group UK (rebranded ThirdSpace in October 2018), based in part on Microsoft Secure Score, provides a convenient way for organisations to gain visibility into their security and privacy status, take recommended actions and view progress over time.
The Security and Privacy offering evaluates and advances your data security and privacy posture against recognised industry standards for security governance and management.
“We will provide you with an up-to-date security and compliance posture score.”
The engagement starts with a full current state assessment. Using a variety of analytics tools, we will provide you with an up-to-date security and compliance posture score across 6 key areas and delivered through an innovative dashboard.
To make it easier to quickly determine which Microsoft controls to enable to help protect users, data, and devices, we draw upon Microsoft Secure Score. In addition to providing scores based on the Office 365 controls an organisation has configured, Microsoft has recently added visibility into Windows, with a score coming from the data in Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
Microsoft Secure Score also helps with benchmarking, with the ability to compare results against other organisations from the same industry.
Oxford Computer Group’s unique dashboard provides quick visibility into your current security posture status and the progress your organisation is making.
Based on your organisation’s posture scores, a defined remediation roadmap is provided, covering security policy, procedures and technology. Initially focusing on defined areas of strategic importance, the roadmap is implemented to rapidly uplift your organisation’s security posture and then improved over time.
Ongoing client ready support is then provided in line with the technologies deployed.
The Security and Privacy Service provides ongoing improvement and visibility of your organisation’s posture through assessment and surfacing of recommendations for remediation alongside potential for technology implementation and support services that all come together to uplift posture.
