Fear, fun and pumpkins abound at this year's ThirdSpace Halloween party!
We like to have fun at ThirdSpace, and what better way than to carve out those pumpkins, eat plenty of goodies and make our own mummy costumes!
To get the momentum going, our internal brand ambassadors opened a competition to all staff to enter our pumpkin design competition. We have lots of employees with families, so we thought why not bring those moments into work with the chance of winning a prize.
"I was delighted to see how creative our employees are, it was a tough choice picking the top 3!" Finance Director ThirdSpace
On the day, we invited our employees to bring their families in to enjoy some fun and games together. Starting with some chatter and food, we then moved into our teams.
The first game was “making a mummy”. Each team selected their victim and took 2 minutes to carefully wrap their mummy. Then, to ensure each mummy was fit for Halloween, they wandered through the office with the winner being the mummy who remained most intact – well done red team!
Secondly, we had the eyeball and spoon race. There was fierce competition between the two teams, but with a very close finish the winners were the blue team. This meant we had a tie…
The final game was the all-important apple bobbing. With all the excitement and confusion, I’m not sure which team won, but what we can be sure of is that we all had fun.
“We recognise there is more to life than work and have built a culture where people enjoy coming to work and having fun together – well done to all our winners.” CEO ThirdSpace
To conclude, we would like to say a big thank you to all our pumpkin design entries and congratulations to our winners…
Harriett Butlin, who won 3rd place!
Nick Blake, who won 2nd place!
and finally… Alex Mlewa, who took the top spot!
Well done all, enjoy your prizes!
